Cookin’ For a Good Cause!
The funds raised from our cookoff goes right back into our community! Each year, we designate an impactful program or project in our community to fund, while also supporting the Rotary Club of Houma’s service projects.
Our donations:
- 2023 – We donated $10,000 to purchase carbon monoxide monitors to help keep local first responders safe in all 13 fire districts in Terrebonne Parish.
- 2024 – We donated $10,000 to START Corporation Veterans Program to fund a food pantry for veterans in need year round.
- 2025 – We donated $10,000 to Bayou Youth Equity Foundation to help fund their Mom’s Pantry program which provides hygiene and food to more than 2,000 local students in need.
- 2026 – We donated $10,000 to One Terrebonne Community Center for their Community Garden and Food Access Project, which provides opportunities, food, and education to local families.
In addition, the cookoff helps to fund the Rotary Club of Houma’s community service and veteran projects, leadership programs, and scholarships for local students.
Many thanks to our sponsors, teams, volunteers, and attendees who make this impact possible!
